Will going to a good driving school reduce my car insurance payments in Quebec?

I heard some of them will give me lower insurance premiums. Is this true?

Got my second speeding ticket in Texas in 9 months.. any way around insurance premiums going up?

I was driving down I-45 and i kind of had a blackout/flashback of a car wreck i was a passenger in 2 weeks ago. i was going around a curve and a car entered my lane and i flashedback and the next thing i remember is being pulled over for going 79 in a 60.. although i thought it was 65 ( i dont drive there often)

anyways.. i got a ticket back in august (9 mths ago) and took traffic school to get out of it. now i need a way to appeal to take defensive driving again or something else that will not effect my insurance premiums.

i would love to plead temporary insanity since i don’t remember a chunk of that road being driven but i figure that wouldn’t be the best idea

anybody have suggestions?

How is the government going to make insurance premiums more affordable?

I keep hearing how Americans need more affordable health insurance, but I have yet to hear how they are planning to do this or what results we can expect.

Does anyone know how they are going to achieve this for us? How much can we expect our premiums to go down as a result of the reform? Do you think it will be more than what we will pay in increased taxes?
No Nancy, I don’t know. This is an honest question that no one is asking, and we are not getting answers. Do you know the answer? How are they planning on doing this? Don’t you think they should have a solid plan and answer? Isn’t this the reason for the reform?

If in case of rapture, your car is going to be unmanned, will this make your insurance premiums increase?

Who here would oppose the cost of their health insurance premiums going down by say 50% or more?

I am assuming that we all can agree on at least that part …right? that it sure would be nice to have health insurance that for example for myself costs my family and my employer over $17,000 a year…it sure would be nice if somehow someway it worked out where that premium to me and my employer was only say $8,000 year, which is still a big chunk of change..surreal actually. But I get the feeling there are some americans that think this is ok…I mean that health insurance to cover a family (crappy coverage at that) costs nearly $20,000 a year. Come, on….I am sure we all can agree something is drastically wrong with that sort of inflated cost.

So the question is how do we change that?

What 3 or 4 suggestions do you have that you think if implemented can get my total health insurance bill down to a more “reasonable” amount like only $8,000 a year. I hope your suggestions are significant ones…not just ones that sound good but really won’t make much impact in terms of lowering those premiums. I know one thing, its not even one or two solutions, its probably more like 8 or 10 things that if all are done that eventually we the citizens can get away from this tyranny of high health care and high health insurance costs.
eric, I dont see how your suggestion cuts my premiums way down to only $8,000 though. that is the problem with people who say what you do..it sounds fine….but where is the beef? where is the big change? can you tell about how much your plan would drop my premiums by?
barry, same thing…. a decent suggestion, but I am not so sure this is the big one that somehow magically will cut my premiums in half.
